Update to ME/CFS service in Suffolk
From 1 August 2025, ECCH will no longer be providing ME/CFS services for patients in Suffolk (excluding Waveney).
Patients living in other parts of Suffolk will be supported by a new provider, Suffolk GP Federation.
If you are affected by this change, Suffolk GP Federation will be in contact with you during August 2025 to seek your communication preferences and provide you with the new service contact details.
Please note: ECCH continues to provide ME/CFS services in Norfolk and Waveney as usual.
Welcome to the East Coast Community Healthcare ME/CFS service website. We are a specialist NHS service that seeks to meet the needs of people who have a diagnosis of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) in Norfolk and Waveney.
What is ME/CFS?
Dr Charles Shepherd, medical adviser to the ME Association, who has ME, describes the symptoms, diagnosis and treatments for chronic fatigue syndrome.
